Devils Fall To Cross-Town Rival Drew, 1-0

MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were knocked off by cross-town rival Drew, 1-0, in non-conference action on Monday evening.
With the loss, the Devils dropped to 7-5.
The lone goal of the game came at the 86:38 mark when Drew emerged from a scrum with the ball and found the back of the net. The Rangers held a 24-5 edge in shots and a 9-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Junior goalkeeper Kevin Herbert (Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) played marvelously in goal, stopping nine shots.
The Devils return to action on Saturday, October 10, 2009, at home against Misericorida beginning at 2:30 pm.
