MADISON, NJ - The College at Florham Devils were beaten by King's, 2-0, in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

With the loss, the Devils dropped to 8-8-1 (1-4-1 Freedom) while the Monarchs improved to 11-4-1 (3-2-1 Freedom).

King's got on the board at the 18:21 mark of the first half but the game was played evenly for the remainder of the first half and well into the second half.  The Devils attempted 11 corner kicks alone in the second half but couldn't net the game-tying goal and King's added an insurance goal with 2:35 left in the game to seal the win.

Junior goalkeeper Kevin Herbert (Whippany, NJ/Whippany Park) made three saves in the loss.

The Devils return to action on Monday, October 26, 2009, at Richard Stockton beginning at 7 pm.
