Pat Scarpello enters his seventh season as the Devils' head men’s lacrosse coach.
Scarpello comes to FDU after having served as an assistant coach at the University of Delaware for the past two seasons. Prior to that, he was the head coach at Cabrini College for four years, leading the Cavaliers to an Eastern College Athletic Conference title in 1998. Before arriving at Cabrini, he coached the boy’s lacrosse team at his alma mater, Salesianum high school in Wilmington , Delaware, where he led the team to state championships in 1991 and 1995.
Scarpello graduated from Ferrum College in 1982 where he played lacrosse and football, earning two varsity letters for lacrosse and one on the grid iron.
Currently, he resides in Madison with his wife Kim, daughter Codi, and sons Collin and Christian.
