He also helped the Devils to an NCAA tournament appearance the year before, as FDU went 17-9.
A 1995 graduate of Seton Hall University, Marion earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science. While at Seton Hall, he served as a four-year student manager for the men’s basketball team under former head coaches P.J. Carlesimo and George Blaney. Marion’s last two years were spent as the team’s head manager.
Marion helped with pre- and post-game preparation at Seton Hall. During his tenure with the Pirates, the squad advanced to the post-season in each of his four seasons, including a trip to the “Sweet Sixteen” versus Duke in 1992-93.
He worked as a manager for various USA Basketball teams including the 1999 team at the Olympic Festival in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
