A four-year letterwinner and a four-year starter at defensive back, Tobin was named a captain for his senior season.

He was named All-East by the Eastern College Athletic Conference, the first FDU football player to earn that honor. Tobin was also tabbed as an Associated Press Honorable Mention All- American.

Tobin also played lacrosse and served as a captain in 1984.

He works as a union Broadway show ticket seller with Local 751 Treasurers and Ticket Sellers.

Tobin resides in Red Bank, NJ, where he grew up.
