"Bunny" Legg-Sullivan was an outstanding three-sport
athlete who played from 1986-90. She was named FDU-Madison Female
Athlete of the Year in 1989-90. As a field hockey player, she
was tabbed First Team All-Region in 1989 and Second Team in 1988.
Bunny was also honored as First Team All-MAC in 1987, 1988, and
1989 and was named team Most Valuable Player in 1989. During
her career, the field hockey team posted a 42-18-4 record, which
included an NCAA appearance in 1986, where the squad advanced
to the final eight. Bunny currently ranks third on the career
scoring list with 67 points, fifth on the goals list with with
20, and is the all-time leader in career assists with 27. She
held the school record for single season assists with 10 in 1989,
until the mark was broken in 1997. She also owns the sixth highest
total of assists with seven in 1987. Her total of 24 points in
1989 ranks seventh on the single season scoring list and her
23-point season in 1988 gives her the eighth highest mark. She
is also fourth on the single-season list for goals with a total
of nine in 1988. Bunny's softball career was also impressive.
She finished her career with a .302 batting average and stands
fourth all-time with 111 career hits and third on the career
list with 92 runs scored. Her 69 career runs batted in are the
fifth most in school history as well. Bunny is also number two
on the career singles list with 104 and number four in home runs
with five. She led the team in RBI in 1988 (18) and 1989 (19).
As a basketball player she is 17th on the all-time scoring list
with 444 points and ranks fifth on the all-time three-pointers
made list with 35. She is also 11th in assists (158) and 11th
in steals (125). Bunny is currently working in the Union County
Prosecutor's office. |
