Our new players are spending this time learning proper weight room techniques, in regards to squatting, pulling, cleaning, and jerking. This will be a long process for them, but they're making great pogress already.
Congratulations goes to Noel Kavanagh, Football Strength & Conditioning Athlete of the Year!! Noel won this award, based on his performance in the weight room from August 2001 to August 2002. The award is given to the athlete who makes the greatest progress in the weight room, and displays leadership qualities through attendence and hard work. Noel worked very hard last year, and has become a much more explosive player. As the first ever rising sophmore to win the award, we expect great things from Noel in the future.
